V-Blender

A V-blender is a kind of tumble mixer which is widely used in industrial process to mix pharmaceuticals, food, fertilizers, chemicals, plastics and other granular materials.

V-blenders comprise of two cylindrical sections connected at an angle of around 90 degrees. The mixer is rotated about a horizontal axis, with mixing resulting from the tumbling motion of the particles.
