Drying, cooling, coating, agglomeration and granulation of particulate materials could be done in Fluid bed dryer unit by changing the container conveniently.
The laboratory model of fluid bed dryer is used widely for small scale pharmaceutical product research and development and is ideal for a wide range of heat sensitive and non-heat sensitive products.
The heat may be supplied by either fluidization gas, heating panels or tubes immersed in the fluidized product layer, during fluid bed drying process. Liquid is sprayed on fluidized powder during the fluid bed coating of powder, granules, tablets, and spheroids.
The fluid bed dryer laboratory model is developed from the perspective of development and experimental work specifically where the material available is in limited quantity or very expensive. In the early stage of drug development where both the above mentioned situations are common, our lab model of fluid bed dryer gives a high quality of processing to a small quantity of powder, granules, tablets, or spheroids.Type |
