The raised particles are occurred during the compression, punching and other processes of the tablets which are known as burrs. The tablet de-burring and de-dusting equipment is used for removal of undesired burrs occurred during the manufacturing process and the excess powder in form of dust.

Burrs and excess dust is not acceptable usually for proper packaging reasons. The uneven surface and excess dust prevents the proper sealing of aluminum foiling.
