Ball Mill

A ball mill is a cylindrical shaped, type of grinder used to grind the crystalline materials like pharmaceutical material, chemicals, ores, paints and ceramic materials into extremely fine powder. Ball mill could be utilized to mix dry materials.

Typical ball mill used in pharmaceutical industry is filled partially with pharmaceutical ingredients with steel balls as grinding medium commonly. Advantage of using Stainless steel balls is their high density and low contamination of the material being processed.

Shakti Phramatech's Ball Mill consists of the transmission drive, stand of the Ball Mill and the Ball Mill itself. The jar is stainless steel and contains balls, which vary in diameter for 30 to 40 mm.

The jar rests on two spindles. One of which is driven spindle. The jar and balls can be sterilized in a water bath. It is compatible with both our main motor drive units.
